Er. AJS Kohli is currently working as a General Manager (O&M), National Fertilizers Ltd., Naya Nagar (Punjab).

He is one of the Gems of Nangal Dam. Who gave their contribution to explore our Nangal in the whole world.

MN : Your Birth Place.

AJS : FCI sindri (Bihar) in 1953

MN:Where did you complete you schooling?

AJS : Studied upto  4th class at sector 2 primary school.Studied till 5th class in FCI senior sec school, sector 5.Selected in all India  Sainik School  Entrance Test & joined kapurthala in 1963.  Passed I.Sc in 1969. Did my Pre-Engg from DAV Chandigarh. & Mech engineering from Thapar Institute –patiala in 1975.

MN : When did you join NFL?

AJS : Joined NFL in 1976 as Management Trainee at Bhatinda, servered   at Bhatinda till 2004. Transferred to Nangal  subsequently & till date , serving as GM (O&M).

MN:Can you share something about your family?

AJS:My wife is a medallist in PHYSICS & is lecturer in physics with Punjab Govt. Blessed with 2 daughters who did their schooling from Capt Amol kalia school , Naya Nangal & are B.Tech ( computer science). Both are employed in MNCs.

MN: Your dreams to make Nangal as World Famous place

AJS:DEVELOP TOURISM FACILITATES , DEVELOP BIRDS SANTUARY, shove out more bright students from educational institutions , ingress of good quality teachers in all schools.

AJS: 1. was selected  as the only canidate in class 5th for the all india sainik school entrence exams.

2. was placed  first in distt kapurthala open fine arts competition for amatures in 1965.

3. was captain of cricket ,table tennis & swimming teams of the school in kapurthala

4. was member of table tennis team in 1974 in thapar institute of engg & technology

5. held one man show of paintings & sculptures in nangal

and one incident which you never forget. Gesturer of elder daughter to sponser a female child of our out house maid for her studies till+ 2 level.
